Antique Style
These birds are made to replicate antique decoys, which includes peeling paint and cracks in the wood! The antique style curlews have bills made of metal which were forged by a local blacksmith. In times past, hunters often used pitch fork tines to fashion sturdy bills for their decoys. Click on the images for a closer look.
