Shorebirds
These shorebirds are a mixture of "Full Decorative" and "Smoothie" styles. The Full Decorative Style includes detailed feather texturing, in addition to detailed painting. The Smoothie Style birds have detailed painting with less feather texturing. The single stick to represent the legs is a traditional way to display these decoys, which goes back to the days when shorebird hunting was legal. The stick was pushed into the sand on shorelines.
